Image Research specializes in research and analysis. We have experience in working on HIPAA privacy and security, health information exchange, telehealth and health care analytics.
Welcome to Image Research. For the past thirty I have specialized in research and analysis, health information exchange, telehealth and HIPAA security. In that role, I’ve written grants, conducted program evaluations, managed HIE projects, worked on security policies and taught informatics courses at Florida universities. In 2019 I introduced an online HIPAA security risk assessment to identify needed security documentation. The website is now open to everyone at https://hipaariskanalytics.com. The original idea for naming my company came from a photographic perspective connected to my statistical training. Any research project essentially produces a snapshot of conditions at that time – a reflection or image of the reality being investigated. Consider all the political polls conducted before an election, which are essentially a representation – a picture - of people’s opinions at the time. That’s how I approached my analyses when I was writing them, and I worked hard to make my “image” as clear and accurate as possible.
Now it’s time for a change. My focus with Image Research is pivoting to my life-long passion of photography, which covers fifty years, and writing out the many stories I told my grandchildren. As I develop both, I’ll post links here and also at https://upstreamart.com. I’m planning to start selling greeting cards on Etsy using some of my favorite photographs, so take a look there, too.
